Do I need an account?
To read, no. To take part (support, debate, propose and vote), yes: you create an account with your email and a password. You must be at least 14. When signing up you give explicit consent for us to process your participation, because it may reveal your political opinions.
Where is my data stored?
Your account and participation data is stored on servers in the European Union (database in Ireland and server in Frankfurt). Your device stores your session, your preferences and your vote receipts. Full detail in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
Is my vote secret?
Your vote is secret. Your ballot is encrypted on your device and sent without your identity; the system records that you voted, not how you voted. The result is obtained by adding up the encrypted ballots without opening them one by one, and anyone can check on the public bulletin board that their ballot is included. Today the tally keys are held by the service operator; we are distributing them among independent custodians.
How do I download my data?
In the app: «Tu sesión / Your session» → «Download my data». You get a JSON file with your data. You can also request it by email at hola@sferacivitas.org.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: «Tu sesión / Your session» → «Delete my account». It takes effect immediately. More detail in Delete your account.
Do you use artificial intelligence?
No. Sfera Civitas does not use artificial intelligence systems to process your data or within the platform.
I've seen offensive or illegal content
In the app, tap «⋯» → Report on the issue or comment, or Block user. You can also write to hola@sferacivitas.org.
